Jermaine Wyche is the founder of Benignity Solutions, a platform designed to support individuals transitioning out of foster care and reentry systems through structure, accountability, and practical guidance. Shaped by a childhood impacted by addiction, incarceration, and early exposure to drugs and violence, Wyche entered the workforce at 14 and worked his way from a carwash to a factory position to corporate roles without a degree. In his thirties, he returned to school, graduating from high school and later earning a college degree. At 38, he became a stay-at-home father for 15 years, supporting his wife’s career while raising their children, who would go on to graduate from college.

Today, Wyche serves as a middle school basketball director at a high school in Georgia and a community coach, while also holding a board position with CCJBC, one of the largest and most influential middle school basketball programs in Georgia—further demonstrating his ongoing commitment to youth development and community impact. After eight years of building with limited resources, he developed Benignity Solutions with a clear focus—creating a platform that actively serves those navigating foster care and reentry transitions. Today, the Benignity Solutions portal stands as a dedicated space built for that purpose—providing the structure, access, and partnership needed to help individuals transition toward lasting success.

Annual Volume: Each year, over 600,000 individuals are released from state and federal prisons, while another 9 million cycle through local jails.

Long-Term Recidivism: Within three years, approximately two-thirds of released individuals are rearrested, and over 50% are reincarcerated.
